Dump trailer FAQ
What truck do I need to tow it?
A 3/4 ton or larger pickup with a 2 5/16 in ball rated for 14,000 lb, a working 7-pin plug and an electric brake controller. Half ton trucks are not rated to tow this trailer loaded.
How much can I put in it?
The bed holds about 14 cubic yards, but weight runs out before space with heavy material. Dirt, rock and concrete should only fill it partway. Keep the load under about 9,800 lb.
Where do I dump the load?
You take it to a landfill, transfer station or city bulky waste site and pay their disposal fee. We can point you to the closest one for what you are hauling.
What is not allowed?
No hazardous waste, paint, chemicals, tires, batteries, asbestos or liquids. Anything a landfill turns away comes back to you.
What happens if it comes back dirty?
Sweep out the bed and lower it before you return it. A cleaning fee applies if we have to shovel or wash it out.
