Skid steer FAQ
Do I need experience to run it?
It helps, but we give every renter a quick walkthrough of the controls and safety features before you start. Take it slow for the first few minutes on open ground.
How does delivery work?
We deliver every skid steer and pick it up ourselves. On a one day rental we drop it in the morning and pick it up at the end of the day. It stays overnight only on multi day rentals. Delivery is $50 within 15 miles of our yard and free on rentals over 1 day. The drop spot needs firm, level ground a truck and trailer can reach.
Can I pick it up myself?
No. For safety, our crew does all loading, hauling and unloading of the skid steer.
How many hours can I run it?
Up to 10 hours of run time per rental day. We read the hour meter at drop off and pickup.
What about fuel?
It goes out with a full tank of diesel. Bring it back full or we will fill it and add the fuel cost.
Do I need to call before I dig?
Yes. Call 811 or request a locate online at least two business days before you dig. It is free and it is the law in Texas.
